The Unicus Global Xtempore Olympiad (UGXO) is an international online extempore Olympiad that builds communication skills in students from KG to Class 10. Instead of MCQs, students speak on the spot across three rounds: a Warm-Up Round (spin the wheel), a Creative Round (pick a card) and an X-Factor Round (roll the dice), each with fixed thinking and speaking time, for a total of 100 marks. Because every student speaks for the same fixed time, UGXO has no time-based tie-breaker: when marks are equal, the younger student is ranked higher. Students of Classes 2 to 10 are ranked, while KG and Class 1 are parent/teacher-assisted and not ranked.
