Unicus Global Mathematics Olympiad (UGMO)

About

Unicus Global Mathematics Olympiad is an international online competition for students from KG to Class 10. It aims to provide children with a learning opportunity to improve their numerical skills, problem-solving abilities, and logical reasoning through a well-organized MCQ exam. The winter olympiad provides a definite standard against global standards and assists students in knowing their position in a competitive academic environment. Besides that, it also motivates regular practice, more focused analytical thinking, and getting familiar with advanced math problems at an early stage.

Note: Please note that the exams for Class KG and Class 1 will be parent/teacher-assisted.

The exam consists of two sections:

Classic Section: This section will consist of questions related to practical applications of Mathematics
Scholar Section: This section will have questions on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)

What Is The Eligibility for Mathematics Olympiad

Unicus Olympiad is a worldwide-level competition, and it is open to every student from Class KG to Class 10 from any country. The registration for the Global Mathematics Olympiad is kept very easy, and anyone can register through their school or as an individual.

How To Participate In Mathematics Olympiad

The Global Mathematics Olympiad offers two participation routes: school-based enrollment or individual registration. Either path provides a hassle-free registration experience.

Global Mathematics Olympiad Registration Through Schools

The Online Mathematics Winter Olympiad is open to students from Kindergarten to Grade 10. We send out the registration materials and prospectuses to all the schools that have enrolled in our program. If your school is not yet registered with us, you can get a prospectus by sending an email to info@unicusolympiads.com. Participating schools are advised to submit their completed registration forms to Unicus Olympiads at least one month before the examination date. This school-based registration system is designed to help teachers easily manage group enrollments, thus making it possible for the students to participate collectively and allowing the teachers to keep track of the students' progress as a group.

Global Mathematics Olympiad Registration for Individuals

If a school does not conduct Olympiads, then an individual participant can register himself/herself. Any student who wants to register independently as an individual can follow the simple process of registration. The Winter Mathematics Olympiad individual participant registration is quick; one just needs to fill the registration form and fill out the form and submit it on our website portal with accurate details. The exam is conducted online, and hence a laptop or desktop with a good Internet connection and webcam should be used. It is not allowed to take the exam on a mobile device. As the exam will be proctored in an online mode, a webcam will be mandatory to record the final exam.
