About Unicus Olympiads

Theory behind Unicus Olympiads

In the time, when law of gravitation was not discovered, almost everyone must have observed things falling down but did not understand the theory behind it. It was only Isaac Newton who considered this phenomenon UNIQUE and came up with the Theory of Gravity. But have you ever thought what made him find this phenomenon unique? It was his Questioning Curiosity i.e. why, what, how, when and where.

Most of the Olympiads and similar assessments take place in the month of October to December before the school curriculum is over. Hence, the student has to study the concepts on his/her own which is unfair to the student. The assessments should ideally take place once the student has completed the course.

Keeping in mind the factors above, Unicus Olympiads was established by distinguished personalities with common interest in education. Unicus is a Latin word for UNIQUE. Hence, Unicus Olympiads aims at increasing the questioning curiosity of the students and making them stand out among the crowd. Unicus Olympiads, while trying to avoid unnecessary pressure on the student, enhances the competitive spirit among the students and fosters their foundation making them future ready.
