Why Do Stars Look Tiny?
Stars look tiny because they are very far away from us.
- Even though stars are huge, they are located millions or even billions of miles away.
- When we look at them from Earth, they appear smaller than they really are.
- Our eyes see them as small points of light in the night sky.
Examples:
- The Sun is a star, and it is much closer to us than the other stars, which is why it looks much bigger and brighter.
- When you see the headlights of a car far away, they look tiny too, just like stars do.
- If you take a picture of a star with a telescope, it will look much bigger than when you just see it with your eyes!
Fun Fact: There are many stars in the sky, and some are even bigger than our Sun, but they look tiny because they are so far from us!
