What is an In-Between Number?

  • An in-between number is a number that comes between two other numbers.
  • It fills the space between them.
  • For example, between 2 and 4, the in-between number is 3!
Examples:
  • In-between ages:
    • If your friend is 7 years old and another friend is 9, the in-between age is 8.

  • In-between scores:
    • If you score 15 points in a game and your sister scores 20, the in-between score is 17!

  • In-between numbers in a line:
    • If you see a line of numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4. The in-between numbers are 2 and 3!
