What is a Line?
- A line is a straight path that goes on forever in both directions.
- It has no end points, like the lines we draw with a ruler.
- Lines can be horizontal (side to side) or vertical (up and down).
Examples:
- Roads:
- Think of a long road that stretches far away; that's like a line!
- It goes straight and keeps going without stopping.
- Ruler:
- When you use a ruler, the edge is a line.
- You can draw it as long as you want!
- Laser Pointer:
- When you use a laser pointer, it shines a straight line on the wall.
- That line is straight and can go far away!
