What does 3D mean?
- 3D stands for "three-dimensional."
- This means that something has height, width, and depth.
- When we look at things in 3D, we can see them from different sides, just like in real life.
Examples:
- Big boxes:
- A big cube is 3D because it has a top, a bottom, and four sides!
- You can walk around it and see all the sides.
- Food items:
- A pizza is 3D because it is round and has a top and bottom crust.
- You can slice it and see how thick it is!
- Toys:
- Your toy car is 3D because it has a body, wheels, and can move around.
- You can hold it and see it from all angles.
