What are the Properties of Air?
- Air is made of tiny particles that we can't see, called molecules.
- Air takes up space and has weight, even though we cannot feel it most of the time.
- Air can move; this is why we feel wind on our faces.
- Air is invisible, meaning we cannot see it, but it's always around us.
Examples:
- You can feel air moving when the wind blows on a windy day.
- When you blow up a balloon, the air inside makes it bigger and holds it up.
- When you breathe in and out, you are taking in air and then pushing it out.
Fun Fact: Air is very important for life as we need it to breathe and to help things like airplanes fly!
