What are one digit numbers?

  • One digit numbers are numbers that only have one number in them.
  • They can be from 0 to 9.
  • These numbers are the smallest and simplest numbers.
Examples:
  • Counting Apples:
    • If you have 3 apples, that's a one digit number!
    • You can count them: "1, 2, 3."

  • Counting Fingers:
    • Your hand has 5 fingers, which is also a one digit number.
    • When you count your fingers, you only say "1, 2, 3, 4, 5."

  • Number of Stars:
    • Imagine you see 7 stars in the sky.
    • That's another one digit number!
