How to Calculate Age Based on Months?

  • Calculating age in months means finding out how many months old someone is.
  • To find your age in months, you just need to count how many months have passed since your birthday.
  • You can think of it like this: each year has 12 months!
Examples:
  • Counting your own age:
    • If you are 5 years old, you multiply 5 by 12.
    • 5 years x 12 months = 60 months old!

  • Counting a puppy's age:
    • If a puppy is 1 year old, it's 12 months old!
    • So, it's easy to remember, one year is always 12 months.

  • Finding out your friend's age:
    • If your friend is 3 years and 4 months old, you add 3 years x 12 + 4 months.
    • That makes them 40 months old (36 months + 4 months).
