How many hours are in one day?
- There are 24 hours in one day.
- We say that a day starts at midnight, which is 12:00 AM.
- Then, we count all the way until the next midnight!
Examples:
- Time for school:
- If school starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM, that's 6 hours of school.
- You could have 6 hours of fun after school!
- Watching TV:
- If you watch a movie that is 2 hours long, you can still watch 10 more hours of other shows in one day!
- Sleeping:
- If you sleep for 8 hours at night, that's just a part of your 24-hour day.
- You have lots of time to play and learn when you wake up!
