How does the 12 Hour Format Work?
- The 12-hour format is a way to tell time using numbers from 1 to 12.
- It repeats twice in a day: once for the morning and once for the evening.
- We use AM for the morning and PM for the evening.
Examples:
- Morning Wake Up:
- If you wake up at 7 in the morning, you say "7 AM."
- This is before lunchtime.
- Lunch Time:
- If you have lunch at 12:30, you say "12:30 PM."
- This shows it is after midday.
- Bedtime:
- If you go to bed at 9 at night, you say "9 PM."
- This means it is time to sleep.
